I took a peek at these acryilic and poliester fabric collages on canvas....

Upon looking at them, I could think of nothing more than a blank (quite bad painted) wall, or a child's play with paint...

Just out of curiosity, how much this one of these...works cost?

anonymous, thanks for looking.

The cost is irrelevent, since the pieces are for an upcoming show and not available for purchase yet.

I enjoyed reading your reaction to these paintings, especially the "blank wall" comparison. To much of the art I see is about bigger-is-better, with outlandish colors and Las Vegas style effects. I felt a need to get back to the quiet side of painting, where the art is not lost amid the glam. And for making a space to allow the subtle qualities of creativity to flourish, a blank wall is not a bad place to start.

I'll take a Michael Cross "blank wall" or any other "subtle creative flourish" of his currently on exhibit at his Swiss Avenue gallery. They are quite unique.
